Members of the GGSB attend seminars and journal clubs, which serve to broaden the student's training in current topics within their field and related disciplines. The Committee on Genetic Sponsors a number of forums for scientific seminars.

Monthly GGSB/IGSB Seminar Series

Biweekly GGSB Journal Club

Biweekly Genetics of Model Organisms Club

Students in their third year and beyond present their recent research endeavors at this biweekly gathering of students and faculty. Weekly Graduate Student Seminar

The end of the work week is punctuated by this Friday afternoon gathering at which a senior student presents his/her research to an audience of exclusively graduate students, augmented by food and beverage.

Annual GGSB Symposium
